A typical day in the life of a chef at Mamma's Boy Trattoria

Ever wondered what happens behind the scenes? A typical day in the life of our highly skilled chef (Soy) starts early in the morning with a trip to the local markets to source the freshest ingredients for the day's menu. Back in the kitchen, Soy will spend hours with their team members on prepping ingredients, from chopping vegetables to making fresh pasta and sauces from scratch.

As the restaurant begins to fill up, Soy will oversee the cooking process, ensuring that each dish is prepared to perfection and presented beautifully. She will also be responsible for training and managing the kitchen staff, delegating tasks and ensuring that everything runs smoothly.

Throughout the day, Soy works closely with front-of-house staff to answer questions about the menu and make sure that guests are enjoying their dining experience. In between lunch and dinner service, Soy may take a break to catch up on paperwork or plan future menus.

As dinner service gets underway, the pace in the kitchen picks up, Soy will be in charge of coordinating the timing of each dish to ensure that everything is served hot and fresh. After the last guests have left, Soy will oversee the cleaning and closing of the kitchen, making sure that everything is put away and ready for the next day.
